Where it began
Prince Impex has been built steadily since 1994, with a straightforward approach to business: source good fabrics, stand behind what we supply and treat every relationship with the importance it deserves.
Based in Newlands, Durban, we source a diverse range of fabrics from trusted manufacturers and suppliers around the world, supplying customers across Africa.
As a family-owned business, we take a long-term view. Quality, consistency and reliability aren’t marketing lines for us — they’re the standards we aim to maintain in the fabrics we source, the service we provide and the relationships we’ve built over the years.

Our collection has grown the way good businesses grow — one customer need at a time. What began as a focused selection of dependable everyday cloths is today an extensive range spanning wovens and knits, linings and nets, satins, velvets, prints and specialist finishes, each available in a broad palette of colours.
We hold our core ranges in depth, so that the colour and quality you order today is the colour and quality you can re-order next season. And where a particular fabric isn’t on our shelves, we draw on long-standing relationships with manufacturers to source it to order, whatever the scale of your wholesale requirement.
